Archeological position in Ćmielów and Gródek by Bug river are one of the most interesting and fundamental positions of Mddle Europe’s eneolith era. Both of them are set on loess plateaus which rise above the whole area. Steep slopes of the positions are even 20 m heigh, which makes visibility reach as far as a few kilometers. The position in Ćmielów is set by Kamienna river, which uchodzi do Wisły, whereas settlement in Gródek is landscaped on border river Bug.
